Darts World and AIM decided that a new type of darts review might be useful to our readers, followers and fellow darters. With that in mind we tried out a 3 minute, or 180 second, introductory style review.

We asked AJ Urmston-Toft if he would assist us with them as he has a vast knowledge of darts kit and a rare enthusiasm for it. As a tour player he is also well placed to genuinely compare models, grips, set ups and other variables and explain them in a way we can all understand.

We have adapted a refine and develop as you go attitude to 180 reviews. But they have been popular and well liked so far. Recently AJ gave us an introductory look at the Luke Humphries world championship edition:

AJ seems to love the new looks and the variations on the classic theme which highlight Cool Hand’s achievements and the variations brought to bear by modern technology onto the classic torpedo of Humphries base signature model.
