Since the introduction of the Challenge Tour, the PDC has continued to add to and expand the role of its various specific circuits. Whether as a ‘Second Tier’ or for ages groups – or other categories – they provide opportunity for more and more players to participate in the PDC model and perhaps develop toward the elite Pro Tour and its multi element tour.
