Winmau player Steve Brown secured his spot at the Amateur Darts Circuit Vault 7.0 Finals Day in the Southwest region, picking up a crucial win at The Brown’s Bar to finish inside the Top 32 places.
Steve included 1 180 in defeating Paul Fussell 3-0 in the Final, whilst hitting an average of 100.2 in beating Ashton Brown 2-0 in the Group Stage.
Jack Tweddell was the highest ranked player in the Southwest region overall, claiming 9 competition successes throughout the 7-week period.
The Southwest Number 1 from the Vault 6.0 Johnny Haines will once again head to Finals Night having finished 3rd in the rankings.
Martyn Freeman who won 7 competitions in the region, ended up 2nd so will face Steve Brown at Finals Night, after Brown ended in 31st place, behind Dean Brown on legs difference.
Mark Frost concluded what was a fantastic campaign in the Midlands region by finishing 2nd in the rankings, to qualify for Finals Night and receive a payout.
The Stoke-on-Trent associated player, capped of a fantastic campaign with victory at the Longton and Pool Club in Stoke, averaging 82.83 in beating Daniel Astbury 3-1 in the Final.
“Frosty the Throw Man” finished behind Dan Nicholls who topped the Midlands Region by 14 points, winning 8 tournaments in the Vault 7.0.
Dean Finn – Forde finished 1st in the Vault 7.0 Ireland rankings with 296 points, ahead of Shane Ryan in 2nd by 11 points.
The Dublin born player won 9 tournaments, with his most recent win coming last Tuesday at Palatine House in Carlow, beating Eric Power 3-2 in the Final. Dean also recorded a 100.2 average in his 3-0 Semi Final win over Andrew Murphy Jnr, including a 12 darter to seal the win.

Away from the Vault 7.0 and Ant Hitchmough picked up 64 ADC ranking points with victory at the 1st Cosmo’s of Chester Darts Grand Slam, beating Perry Harley 4-1 in the Final.
Ant’s best performance at Cosmo came in the Last 16 against Matthew Lewis, averaging 90.18 in a 3-0 win.
Ryan Palmer clinched a 6-5 win over Ricky Palmer at the Dartasylum Open at The Browns Bar, earning 32 ADC Ranking Points.
Ricky included a 106 checkout to hold throw in the opening leg, before “The Lion” fought back with a 99 finish of his own, to level the match at 5-5. Ryan kickstarted the deciding leg with a 180 before breaking the throw to win a cracker of a Final and the tournament.
The Vault 7.0 respective Finals Day’s will take place on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of June, with more spots at the MODUS Super Series on offer through the Amateur Darts Circuit.
