AS in many sports the major commercial players have discovered the value of identifying, and securing, the brightest young talent as soon as possible. Whether through talent development programs such as Team 360 or Elite1 or by the more traditional sponsorship contract route.
Red Dragon has proudly announced the signing of Bradly Roes on a three-year deal. The youngster was previously with Loxley and has long been thought to have great potential.
Bradly embarked on his darting journey just over four years ago, drawing inspiration from the soaring success of Dutch darting icons, such as Michael van Gerwen. It was in those moments that he honed his skills, preparing for the bright future that awaited in his darting career.
The pinnacle so far of his brief yet impressive career came when he joined compatriots Colin Roelofs and Justin van Tergouw as the third Dutch winner of the WDF Boys World Championship and also become a two-time Youth World Champion having beaten Leighton Bennett to win the JDC World Championship back in December 2022.
The signs of his prodigious talent were there from early on as merely three months after his initial entry into darts, Bradly showcased his natural talent by participating and clinching victory in his inaugural tournament, triumphing over some of the brightest stars in the Netherlands.
Emerging from a challenging group, Bradly secured a 3-1 win in all three knockout games to seize the NDB Aspiraten Champion League title, ultimately defeating Dylan van Lierop in the final.
We’ve always cherished the opportunity to work with young players, aiding their development in the demanding landscape of darts. Bradly stands out as one of the most promising young talents. With patience and dedication, he holds a tremendously bright future ahead in the sport.
