Last season Salopian gained promotion from division three of the UKDA National League to division two.

They will kick start their new season this coming weekend with a home tie against Clwyd who finished their last campaign in the second division in a mid-table position.

This should be a good opener and something of a test for Salopian in the higher division what with home advantage and playing Clwyd rather than a team from the top of division two.
